TESOL Plenary: 21st Century Competencies
Social change, global mobility, economic globalization, technology and the knowledge explosion have all combined to force educators to re-evaluate the purposes of education and the knowledge and skills required of citizens in the 21sy Century. In this presentation, I will look at the nature of the challenge confronting educators, and at some of the solutions that have been proposed to meet the challenge.
