Designing Writing Tasks that Promote Intercultural Communication in the EFL Classroom
This interactive presentation will demonstrate how writing can be transformed from an autonomous and anxiety producing task to one that promotes intercultural dialogue and collaboration between students of different cultures. Using a “get up and write” technique, participants will learn how to turn writing into a social and collaborative process that also promotes creative and critical thinking skills.
