At a time when “America’s stepchildren”–African American, Latino, and low income students– continue to be underserved by the public school system, this presentation will provide education leaders, teachers, higher education leaders, faculty, and policy makers with specific ways that they can use their “platforms” and resources to improve educational outcomes and the lives of these students.
