Daniel Beck is an instructor at Rikkyo University and Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. He is currently an Ed.D. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) student at Anaheim University and hold an M.S. in Education (TESOL) from Temple University Japan as well as a BA in History from University of California, Irvine. His research interests include technology, motivation, learner autonomy, learner identity, and course design.
